I would like to make our community a strong, stable and concerted structure.

Mrs. Đemila Gabriel was born on 16 November,1968 in the Bosnian town of Bosanska Dubica, into the wealthy and famous patrician family Talic.


After being expelled from her hometown in 1992, Mrs. Gabriel became a refugee and with her two small children went briefly to Denmark, and then to Germany, where she spent eight years. Fifteen years ago she moved to Sydney (Australia).


There, she received a diploma for Real Estate Business Marketing and Management. In 2010, Mrs. Gabriel was named a director of an Australian real estate company, and soon after that she became a majority shareholder. Since 2015, she has been the sole owner of this company. In recent years, Ms. Gabriel also gained Bachelor Degree, Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Charter University.


Mrs. Gabriel speaks five languages. She is a great humanitarian, and of all the projects she took part in, her favorite three are:

  • Setting a replica of a Bosnian medieval tombstone known as ‘stecak’ in front of the Parliament House in Canberra.

  • Helping the University Clinical Center in Sarajevo purchase an ultrasound machine for diagnosing heart diseases.

  • Being the producer of the feature film "For Those Who Can Tell No Tales";.

Mrs. Gabriel has always had an excellent cooperation with the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Canberra, supporting all its projects and providing it with the financial and moral support. In addition, she is a Justice of the Peace for the State of New South Wales - Registration No. 223853


She is married to the world-renowned businessman Chris Gabriel, mother of Inel and Nives.
